One of our very first projects here at Fair Folk was launching the most innovative product in lacrosse in over 30 years. That project was for Warrior, and it holds a special place in our hearts. It ended up being the first of many product launches to come.

A head of its time.

The Warp was the first lacrosse head to be strung by machine. We knew that lacrosse, a sport rooted in tradition and heritage, was not going to be ready for this revolutionary product. So we planned for that.

Talking heads.

Pro lacrosse player Trevor Baptiste helped Warrior design a head to win face-offs. Being the head he also uses, it’s often called “Trevor’s head.” So we thought, what if we replaced it with Trevor’s actual head… Then we could let it do the talking.

Hate it or love it.

By supporting all sides of the conversation, we were able to lead it, and eventually steer it. Which turned out to be pretty powerful, since it was the most talked about product launch in the history of lacrosse. The Warp’s initial release sold out in every retail store.
