We do a large portion of our video production work in-house – meaning we do everything from pre-production planning to filming to editing. As a film intern, you’d be working directly under our Director. There will be opportunity to assist with productions and dive into edits.

We’d like you to have/be:

  • A strong portfolio (something in the range between killer & bitchin’) - demonstrating creative,
    clear and organized work, and a sensibility of typography, layout, color, and composition

  • A passion for collaboration and the creative process

  • An eye for great-looking/impactful/influential video editing

  • Organized and able to manage multiple projects at once

  • Proactive problem-solver and over-communicator with strong organizational skills

  • Creative thinker not afraid to share ideas

  • The desire to learn what it is like working at a creative-first design agency

  • To be willing to do what is needed to create amazing work

  • Takes initiative and is creative/innovative in solving problems

  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team

  • Must be able to work well with deadlines and pivot quickly

  • Passionate about the editing field and displays a drive to learn about the brands as well as new technologies/programs

  • Work with footage/assets to create compelling, effective videos and content

  • Basic compositing skills (proficiency is a plus)

  • Good understanding of technology pertaining to video editing and visual effects

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn

  • Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects and or Final Cut software a plus

  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.)

  • Ability to work at least 20 hours a week with a semester-long commitment preferred

This is an unpaid internship but school credit and industry experience are offered as compensation. Students must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or specialized degree program using the internship towards credits for that program.
